My Experience

I worked in a private day nursery 'bright horizons' for over 3 years based in the baby unit (3months - 18months) . However i did go into other units in the nursery to help out so have worked with kids up to 5 years old. My daily task included ; supervising babies all day & during meal times and sleep, changing nappies, play. Observations, activities, planning, child learning journeys and supporting my work partners and any other tasks associated with nursery work.

My first nanny job (2013-2015) was full time looking after a 2 year old, 4 year old aswel as my daughter (2 years). I started 8am and finish 6/6.30. I started my day doing breakfast and getting the children ready for the day and do drop offs etc . We spend the days doing toddler groups, softplays, parks, baking and lot of fun stuff.

I moved onto another family 2015-2019 and worked starting with 6m an old and whilst I was that family they had another child who I looked after as well, I loved the family and job however covid took over and things changed for everyone.

I have worked in 2 schools for over 5 years - one state and one private school. Working within the age range 2-11 years old.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 diploma for the children and young people’s workforce - NVQ 3

My Availability

need one months notice before start date and holidays only as I work term time

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
