About Me

My name is Michelle Morgan, I am a registered child-minder since 2013 with the CIW, I’m a full member of PACEY and I live in Morriston with my husband Richard and our sausagedog Meg. Our first language is English but will use some basic welsh words.
Prior to becoming a registered child-minder I worked in two different nurseries totalling 8years experience, I worked as a nursery manager, a baby room supervisor and a nanny. Over the years I’ve had plenty of experience with all ages and I’ve attended many courses such as:-
First aid
Level 2 child protection
Recognising children with sensory difficulties
Food and active play for tiny tots
Food safety
Manual handling
Art of leadership
I’m also qualified to a NVQ level 4 in childcare


I pride myself in having a clean, safe and smoke free home. I have 4 rooms which have been registered by the CIW

I have a large fenced secure garden and my play room leads out onto a large safe patio area with plenty of outdoor equipment/toys, I’m also within walking distance of Llewellyn park and a 5min drive to the local libraries, shops, playgroups, beaches and duck pond where we will visit on a regular basis.

My service is available from 7.30am-6pm and I will negotiate an individual contract for each child. I will collect and drop of children at a few local schools and offer before and after school care but I would recommend we discuss school runs before hand. I would like to invite all families to have a look around my home and also have a chat regarding yours and your child’s needs.

I will provide quality care for children from birth to 12 years of age. The number of children I can care for at any one time is determined by the CIW process: I can care for a maximum of 3 children under 5 years, only 2 of which can be up to 18 months of age, and 7 children aged 5 to 12 years old, totalling no more than 10 children at any one time. I will endeavour to make sure that I follow parents routines, this will give children continuity of care and they will not become confused with different standards of behaviour and boundaries.
