My Experience

I have worked in childcare since I started college in 2008, I have lots of experience with children between the ages of 3 months and 8 years. I qualified my college course in June 2010 and I have since worked in two nurseries based in the baby rooms and worked with three families as a nanny, gaining two years experience, one family I was with for 18months with B:8months and G:3years, this sadly came to and end after the older child started school. I then worked 6 weeks with an Australian family to give them a helping hand whilst they settled in. Working with G:3 B:5 and B:8. I then moved on and worked in a housekeeping role and nanny role with G:5 B:7, I looked after the children before and after school and looked after the house during the day. Sadly I had to leave that job when the mother decided to take on more of a role at home and I was not needed. My most recent role was with a family I was with for 5 years and have known since there son was a new born, he is now 10! I worked full time until their youngest started school in September 2019 i then took on more of a house keeper role and looked after the children before and after school and did household duties during school hours.
I then started my own family having my daughter September 2020. I will be looking to return to work autumn 2021, I’m open to roles, either a couple of days a week or before and after school care. I would be looking to bring my daughter along with me, despite being a pandemic baby she is very sociable and happiest when with lots of people.

I have enjoyed working with children in a variety of settings and I really enjoy my job. I like being outside, and getting out as much as possible, whether it be going to the park, feeding the ducks or finding outdoor activities for the children to do, I also enjoy going to baby groups, meeting new people and allowing the children to mix with other people. When I am inside I enjoy role playing with the children, reading and I love doing crafts and getting messy.

My Qualifications

I have a NVQ level 3 in childcare and education.
14 years experience working with a wide age range of children.

First aid certificate
I have a current clean driving license with the relevant insurance

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (net)

£11-£14p/hour Net
