My name is Karen, I was born in Halifax in West Yorkshire, I moved to Bishops Cleeve in Cheltenham 24 years ago. I have two grown up sons I live with my partner Russ and my two cats.
I am a friendly,social and outgoing person with a good sense of humour.
I like to spend my spare time going on holiday and walking.
Apart from being a full time mum until my children went to school, I have looked after other children, being an Ofsted registered child minder for 15yrs,
There ages ranging from 3 months to 13 years.
I had a brief spell working in an office, and have since been working full time as a nanny.
For the past 8 years I have looked after twin girls and there younger sister.
I have also been working as a SEND teaching assistant off and on through an agency for the past 3 years
My Experience
I have nearly 30 years of experience,providing quality care and attention to children as a child minder and nanny.
I am an experienced, reliable and compassionate child minder/nanny I have always enjoyed looking after children and it has been a privilege and a complete joy. I love children’s company and am always attentive and responsive to there needs. No two days are ever the same, and no children are ever the same, so this has given me an amazingly varied experience.
I feel deeply about caring for children, and look forward to each day and the challenges they bring. I am patient and attentive, taking time to provide the right level of care, but organised and disciplined.
Being a child minder / nanny is a position of great responsibility, and I have demonstrated to parents over the years that I am reliable, trustworthy and able to provide the necessary care and attention that they require.
