About Me

I have been childminding for many years now and thoroughly enjoy my work.
My main aim while working with the children is to make the children feel safe, secure and most importantly have fun and learn through play.

My Experience

I have had children of my own who now are 19 and 16 years of age.
I have also done voluntary work in a school for 6 months while studying my NVQ Level 2 in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
I also took paid employment in a Nursery on a temporary contract. While in the Nursery I was moved to different rooms so gained experience of working with 0-1years and 2-5years.
I have attended all the relevant courses that is required as a Childminder.
First Aid, Food Hygiene, Child Protection, I have also attended some courses that I have felt that would benefit me and my setting. I completed a Handling Children's Behaviour Course, Toddler Nosh and Learning through Play
