About Me
Hello! I am Giulia, a Ofsted registered childminder and nanny. I've been a childminder for many years in Hove (last inspection in 2022-Good Provider). I am now looking to work as a nanny as well.
I have over 15 years of experience in working with children of various age and different backgrounds.
Having lived and studied in different Countries, I worked in different settings in a variety of roles – such as Italian teacher, Nursery and Early Years Teacher, Childcare Worker and Nanny/Babysitter. I studied Social Work and Sociology at the Uni in Italy, then Childcare in London and lastly, I did all the training required to open my own childminding business in Brighton & Hove.
I can describe myself as a responsible, professional, enthusiastic, energetic, patient, firm… and sunny person! I love to use my creativity and versatility to extend children’s curiosity and to make every experience valuable. I truly believe that every child is unique, so I do my best to listen to each child’s individual need, and I am always happy to learn about the world of the children in my care. At the same time,I love to share with them my values and culture (and why not, to teach them some Italian words!).
My Experience
I studied Sociology and Social Work in Italy, then I moved to London where I studied Childcare, then I moved to Australia. After three years on the other side of the world, I moved back to UK (Hove). I gained experience in working with children in every place I lived, and I got the chance to work in different settings and different roles (including Nursery and Early Years Teacher, Childcare Worker in Before and After School Clubs, Italian Teacher for babies to adolescents, Nanny and Babysitter).

Italian University Degree in Sociology and Social Work.
CACHE Level 1 in Caring for Children
Ofsted recognised Childminding Course
Full Paediatric First Aid/CPR + Anaphylaxis
Enhanced DBS Check
