About Me
Hi my name is Nichola
I am a happily married fun loving mother of three grown up children, all but one have now left home.
I decided in 2013 that I wanted to get back into full time nannying again, I was invited to join a family very quickly and I haven't looked back since.
Through out my working career i have always worked in the caring profession, I thrive on gaining as much knowledge and experience as I possibly can through each stage of a child's development but most of all I have a love for spending time with children.
I am presently working full time hours in York as a private nanny to two boys.
I have an up to date paediatric first aid certificate, also up to date DBS form and a food hygiene certificate.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience with looking after my own children, but in paid form I have over 18 years experience.
When I was 18 I lived in America looking after 3 children, a very challenging experience for an 18 year old but I took it in my stride.
Once back in England I was a sole charge nanny to two children on a 6 month contract while there nanny was on maternity leave, I took a 6 month contract as it gave me chance to decide which path I was now going to take.
I began working for a company that looked after children/young adults with learning difficulties, a very rewarding job which I loved dearly, my decision to leave was purely because I was starting a family.
When my children were a little older I started my own successful childminding business, I had 9 children ranging from 3 months to 11 years old.
I saw most of my children off to primary school/ secondary school, and decided it was time for a house move so sadly my business came to an end.
This did how ever give me the opportunity to go back into my chosen profession as a private nanny again, the time was right as my own children were independent and didn't need me as much.
I became a full time nanny housekeeper to a 2 1/2 year old little girl, I had sole charge Monday to Friday, I also became a proxy parent while the parents were both away on business quite regularly.
Three years into the job the child started school and I was no longer needed as a full time nanny I decided with the parents consent to move on to another nannying job.
I now work full time sole charge looking after two boys, again I do the day to day running of the household too and stay overnight while the parents are working away.

My Fees
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge £13 hour, and come to an agreed price for overnight care.
I charge £10 babysitting also.
