My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with two families before as a nanny covering 4 years in total. With sole charge for three days and three nights a week. I can easily say it is the most enjoyable and rewarding job I have ever had, and the only reason I left was to go to university and it was one of the hardest moments of my life. I cared for a 9 year old girl and a 13 year old boy, during both term time and holidays.

The second family I worked for was during my final year at university during holidays and then continuing after graduating in my summer holidays as a teacher. I had sole care 5 days a week for two children one boy from the age of 8 until he was 11 and the daugher from the age of 10 until she was 13 - although we became friends more than anything! We would go cycling, swimming, rock climbing, to crazy golf, the movies, for picnics and we all loved scrap booking, baking and generally having a fun time!

In 2011 I gained a 2:1 BA (hons) in Primary Education from Durham University.

I was a teacher of children in upper key stage 2 but through my degree I also gained a lot of experience with younger children, working mainly with children aged 4-6. It is a huge passion of mine and something that I enjoyed every minute doing.

I have moved to Hertfordshire and I am based in Borehamwood. I am looking for a fun, loving, happy family to support with any babysitting needs as I have a full time job. With being a qualified teacher, I can happily support in all elements of education but also bring my zest for exciting things and fun to your children's lives.

Other than that experience I have been babysitting for children since the age of 14 and would be confident to say that I have a large amount of experience working with children of all ages from every kind of background.

My Qualifications

I was privately educated until the age of 16 and obtained 11 GCSE's all grade B and above.

I attended a prestigious sixth form college in Leicester where I obtained 5 AS levels and 3 A levels in Business Studies, Media Studies, English Language, Photography and Textiles.

I spent a year at City College Brighton and Hove studying an Art and Design Foundation degree specialising in Textiles.

2:1 BA (hons) Primary Education Durham University

I am happy to undergo a DBS check and hold a number of other hygiene and health and safety certificates.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
