Hi my name is Janice and I have over 28 years of experience. Being a nanny for me is not just about finding the right job but developing and forming good relationships with the family and child. I think I have been successful at this throughout my years as a nanny as I am still in contact with most of my families.
I have a very personable bubbly character. I am punctual, dependable,organised and conscientious about my work.
I moved to Milton Keynes from Oxford. I have a son who is 14 yrs old. I went back to work which included taking my son who was than 10 months old.
When I am not at work I enjoy keeping fit, listening to music and spending time with my family. I also love the outdoors and camping.
I am a non-smoker and I have a full driving licence of 32 years..
My Experience
This is just a brief over view, but I have a full CV covering my time as a nanny.
I have 28 years experience with all age groups of children from new born to 8 years. My positions have been soul charge and mothers help. I have also had experience in looking after a little boy who had Asperger Syndrome. This job was a personal challenge. I wanted to learn how to cope with his needs. I had to plan our activities carefully and be very attentive when we were out. In addition I cared for his younger brother who had some walking difficulties which I helped him overcome. I also have experience in caring for a baby at the time who was 7 months who was Tube Fed!
Duties in these roles were : weaning, potty training, social skills, general care, sometimes bath, and preparing meals.. I provide a variety of stimulating fun and activities, school pick up, socialising with other children and teaching good manners..

Ofsted Registered since May 2010
I have just had an Ofsted Inspection May 2012 and passed with flying colours.

Janice has worked for us since July. It has been a pleasure having her come over to take care of our daughter when i was away at work. Every child takes times to get used to someone new. With janice this was made so easy both for my daughter and me because of her bubbly nature and because she definitely knows what she is doing.
She was an instant hit with my kid (1 1/2 yrs). Her son was good company during the school hols and my daughter loved playing with him and misses him badly with the hols now over.
Due to our financial situation we are unable to continue with keeping a Nanny. It is with great sadness that we have had to come to this decision. Janice is a bubbly, honest, creative and career focused person who loves kids and will not disappoint you at any point.
Overall
Janice was amazing. She covered some dates at short notice for me and was instantly in control and one of the family. She's organised, reliable, caring and extremely professional. Couldn't recommend her enough.
