Hi my names Stacey,
I am have worked in childcare for 17 years, i currently have a Level 3 qualification in childcare & preparing to work in home based childcare.
I have also done a first aid course, safeguarding course, food hygiene course and many different courses relating to childcare.
I have three children aged, 15, 9 and 4.
Before i had my second daughter i was ofsted registered working as a childminding assistant for two years, and previous to that i was a nanny. Whilst i was working as a childminding assistant and pregnant i decided it would be best for me to do the childminding course and set up my own childminding business.
I became ofsted registered as a childminder from my home in April 2016 and worked as a childminder for over 2 years, unfortunately my home was not big enough to continue, So i got a job as a community carer in the Welwyn/Hatfield area.
Since then i have had my son now 4 and moved home. I am now working at a local nursery, i have been there for almost 3 years, im currently the room leader of children aged 2-3 years.
Im currently in the pre reg stage of my application but im hoping to be up and running in time for the summer holidays to offer holiday care.
