About Me
I'm Pauline, I am an Ofsted Registered childminder, I have been for the past 12 years and previous to that over 15years... My daughter Joanne (32) is my assistant, she has worked alongside me for the past 8 yrs. Joanne has worked in childcare settings and nurseries so is highly experienced and has Level 2 in Childcare. We had our Ofsted inspection in October 2023 and we're pleased to say we was Graded Good in all areas!
We have lots of fun activities set out daily, Arts and Crafts, Messy Play with daily outdoor play; weather depending. We offer a home from home environment.
We have a large garden for the children to play in which they love! We now have moved on to offer care before and after school only. We also work in the school holidays, if required. We are available for school drop off and pick ups from Alexandra Infants, Alexandra Juniors and Harris Kent House.
I am signed up to the Tax Free Childcare Scheme. References are available and arranging a visit to our setting is welcomed! Feedback and our most recent Ofsted reports are in the documents section.
My Experience
I was previously a childminder for 15 years before having my son (now 21) I then returned to childcare in 2010 then worked with Adele my daughter who was my co childminder for 11yrs (she does admin now and adhoc assistant for me in school holidays) I can give you references of children I have looked after, if you wish. I have also worked in nurseries. I have organised lots of play sessions in the children and family centres where I was the group leader. I have always worked with children I have tried other work environments but I love working with children, they give me so much joy :)
Adele is 33 years old and has her own beautiful daughter Ruby who is almost 12. Adele is also very experienced looking after children and has worked in nurseries. She has been around childminding children since she was 5 years old when I was first a childminder. She was 14 when her brother came along so helped out a lot with him.
All the children that we are currently minding have been with us for 2-4 years and vacancies have only become available when children are due to move into different schools, preschool or moving out of London. Please read our feedback from parents on the Documents.
My Qualifications
*Level 2 Childcare
*We all have an up to date DBS, these are all on the Update Service so updated annually (including household members who live here)
Myself, Adele and Joanne are Paediatric First Aid trained, which we update every three years.
