About Me
I registered as a childminder in September 2012 and was inspected in June 2015, 2018 and in 2024 and was graded good overall.
I have lived in Stalybridge for over 20 years with my husband and 2 adult children. We live in a 3 bedroom house on a quiet cul de sac with large lounge, dining room and garden with patio and grass area.
I work closely with Tameside Quality Early Years Team to ensure I am delivering the EYFS to a high standard and continue to update my knowledge with online courses.
I offer the children in my care facilities to mix and play as i work alongside 2 other childminders. We go outdoors most mornings, weather dependant otherwise we visit play centers, tots groups and enjoy doing craft activities in each other houses. The children in my care make lovely bonds with friends, sharing and preparing them for school.
My Experience
I have been a parent for 21 years and offer a homely relaxed environment. My aim is to offer high-quality care for each child in my care and work with parents to help their children learn in a safe and stimulating environment.

I believe that spending time outdoors is very important. We will try to go outdoors every day, because I believe that fresh air and wide open spaces are good for them. We plan visits to local parks, and woodlands weekly. I will also work on taking each child forward with their learning and development by building on what your child already knows.

Our little boy has been going to Suzanne’s since 2023. We wanted someone experienced, a home from home setting and someone who was trustworthy.
Suzanne’s childminding is all of the above for us.
As a parent it’s so hard leaving your child when going to work, however Suzanne made this less stressful and we knew he would be safe.
Our little boy would always be excited to go, we would get stories at pick up time about his day with his friends and pictures throughout. If it wasn’t for our little boy starting school and we had our way, he would still be with Suzanne. So much so he asks to go rather than going to nursery. Therefore he still has regular visits and goes within the holidays and he still loves it as much as he did when he was full time.
Suzanne is always out doing activities with the children and ensures your child’s interests are put first.

Suzanne has been looking after my son since 2024. He really loves to go to Suzanne’s and is always excited every morning he goes.
I feel safe when my son goes, and I always receive updates on how he has been, pictures of what he has been up too.
