About Me

Hi my name is Jessica. I am a qualified Primary School teacher who is passionate about developing and enhancing children's' love of learning. I have taught In all year groups, from Nursery to Year 6. My current role is Senior Teacher and School improvement lead at a Nursery School in Hemel, where I work part time. I live in Cheddington with my husband and three children aged 4, 6 and 8 years old. We have a 2 year old cocker spaniel called Otto!

My Experience

1 year working as a teaching assistant in North London.
10 years teaching in Primary School.
1 year as Class Teacher in a Nursery School.
2 years as Senior Teacher and School Improvement Lead in a Nursery School.
Curriculum lead for 5 years (PE).
Experience across EYFS/KS1/KS2.
Experience teaching children with SEN.

My Qualifications

BA Degree in Geography from University of Sussex
PGCE Primary Education

My Availability

**UPDATE** 07/02/26 I currently have NO availability for tutoring. If this changes, I will update as appropriate.


I am available some weekday and weekend evenings for babysitting. I am able to tutor/home school on a Monday during term time between 9.45-2.45pm. During school holidays I have more availability for babysitting/tutoring on weekdays and weekends.

Brilliant tutor for my 4 year old

Jessica worked with my son on his reading and writing. He came such a long way since Jessica's help. She made learning fun and had some brilliant ways of keeping my son engaged. I would highly recommend Jessica as a tutor! Thank you for all your help.
