Hi, my name is Dawn and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2003.
I live in Knaphill with my husband and have two children (24yr old and 28yr old).
I work Mondays, Tuesdays , Wednesdays 8am to 6pm and Thursdays 3pm to 6pm.
I do after school pick ups from Knaphill schools only.
I aim to provide a happy, safe, positive home from home environment for children to thrive in, looking after each child’s individual needs whilst giving lots of encouragement and praise.
We are out most mornings either going to the play park, feeding the ducks, walks in the woods, toddler groups, going to the library, meeting up with other childminders and children to have picnics and games, going to childminding group (we hire a hall where childminders meet with the children to play, have music time and craft sessions), Also I have an allotment where the children are able to grow their own Pumpkin’s and sunflowers … (the children love going there in the summer months to help water the veg patch)
