About Me

Hi my name is Danni, I am Brighton born, a Mother to 2 young daughters and now opening my home as a TERM TIME Childminder with holiday availability. My 2 daughters have previously attended a Childminder is Hassocks and because of the wonderful experience and relationships that have come from this, it has encouraged me to register as a childminder myself.

I have been in the childcare sector since 2008, my roles include a senior nursery practitioner for KiddeCapers, a childminding assistant in Hove and a Nanny for several families in West Sussex and London. In my spare time I am completing a degree in child psychology and enjoying the South Downs and local nature as possible with my husband and 2 daughters.

Our home is a generous 3 bed, 2nd floor flat in Parklands road, Hassocks. The 3rd bedroom has been converted into a playroom which will be used along side the living room and kitchen for the purpose of childminding. I also have a private garden located at the back of the property which consists of a garden office (where my husband works) a large area of grass, flower beds for growing vegetables and flowers, decking and a designated children's corner with a mud kitchen and sensory tray. We have an allotment by the parklands Copse which will be accessible and several parks in the area along with the stream, woodlands and fields within a 5 minute walk.

I can offer an educational, loving setting in a welcoming family home, providing daily updates of your child's development through pictures and videos of our daily adventures. This will include fun educational activities within the home, daily trips to the local parks, the garden centre, playgroups and libraries and unlimited access to the garden. On occasion I may take the children on days out (with parents permission) to places such as sussex beaches and local farms. I will offer healthy snacks and can cater to any dietary and medical needs.
