About Me
Hi my name is Danni and I'm 33. I have 2 young daughters and am looking to relocate from hassocks to worthing. I'm looking for a role in childcare that works around my family whether that be a nursery, family nanny or a childminder setting.
I have been in the childcare sector since 2008, my roles being a nursery nurse, a childminding assistant and a Nanny for several families in both Brighton and London.
I am currently an ofsted registered Nanny monday-wednesday and stay at home parent with 2 girls Thursday - Friday whilst doing a part time degree in Psychology. My eldest is due to start school September 2024 so am looking for a part time role where I can potentially bring along my 2.5 year old on the odd day she's not at nursery although this is not a deal breaker.
I really enjoy setting up open ended activities like sensory and small world play where the children can take the lead and use the resources as it suits their current interests. I have years of experience and access to the EYFS framework and planning age appropriate activities. Most importantly I really enjoy just getting a bit silly and having fun with the children, watching their imaginations go wild.
My Experience
My current professional experience covers children aged newborn to 12 years and includes Potty Training, Weaning, behavioural management, sleep training and general Food prep.
My first role was in 2008-2009 as a full time Nursery nurse.
2010-2013 Part time Nanny, Nursery staff and House keeper.
2013-2014 Working as a child minding assistant and an after school Nanny.
2014- 2015 Sole charge Nanny for 2 children.
2015-2020 Sole charge Nanny for 3 children (plus eldest daughter)
2023 Sole charge for 4 children 3 days a week.
