I am an experienced and loving Nanny, looking for a new role to begin in the late Summer of 2026
A big fan of outdoor play, art, cooking and reading with children, I’m able to support their routines from new-born sleep through to school homework and all the stages in between.
I love my job as a nanny, guiding the children as they learn and grow, encouraging them in their mission to be independent and revel in their latest passions.
Degree educated, Montessori and RIE qualified, I hold a First Aid Certificate, clear DBS (police check), clean driving licence, UK passport, and can provide excellent references.
My preferred areas to work include, but are not limited to - Ashtead / Epsom, Guildford, Cobham/Oxshott, Hersham/Esher.

My Experience
I have over 17 years experience as a sole-charge Nanny with children from newborn to ages 15. I’m also a mother to a grown daughter.
From April 2025 to date I have been working in a busy household with great teenagers, and renovation works to keep me busy when they are at school.
From March 2023 to April 2025, I worked with a family who have a curious loving toddler (then 1, now 4), who has been joined by a smiley baby sibling. Mum is taking extended maternity leave so they don’t currently need a nanny.
From August 2021 to March 2023 I worked with a warm and loving family just outside Guildford caring for G4 and B8m (now 6 and 2). They transitioned to a live-in nanny to support increased international travel commitments.
My previous role in Thames Ditton / Cobham ended after 11 happy years, since the children I looked after were happily settled into full-time school and no longer needed full time support. I had been their nanny since G was 8 months and B was new-born (with a 9 month break in 2018). They are now 13 and 16.
I’ve worked as a children’s storyteller in an independent bookshop in Twickenham (sadly now closed) and as a volunteer with the early years team in a London museum.
Random info:
I have a degree in construction engineering, speak 3 languages (English, Makaton and sarcasm), and hail from Gods own country (Yorkshire), though decades in the Home Counties have pretty much obliterated my accent.
I love long walks in woodland, Hay Festival, and fennel tea

My Availability
Available for roles of up to 40 hours a week from summer 2026

- Nannying from £19.00 per hour (net)
Daytime rate £25ph gross / £19ph net (my current rate)
