About Me
I am a married mother of 2 boys. I am fit and healthy and have lots of energy. I used to be a full time nanny holding jobs ranging from to 2-5 year periods. I Have good and experienced understanding of children. And most importantly love being around children!! I particularly enjoy the 18- 24 month stage although it can be challenging! I can provide excellent references from previous employers. I am currently looking for part time nanny positions. I have more time to go out in the evenings to babysit. I worked in a private nursery prior to that.
I love spending time outdoors, swimming, and going out for meals with my husband and older children when we have time. We are interested in herpetology, which is the proper term for keeping snakes and other reptiles, but don’t keep any at the moment.
I am an enthusiastic person and like to be puctual and busy!
My Experience
I have had over 30 years experience with children, ranging from newborn to 7 years, but that is forever growing as my eldest child is now 20! I have worked in council run and private day nurseries and drop in creches, and have had experience in working alongside parents with different views and ideas about how they bring up their children, in my nanny jobs/ homes. I have done some voluntary work in my children's pre school and have also done a small amount of paid work for children with special needs.
I am also a mother which gives you a different outlook on having children, which is invaluable whilst working with families in my opinion.
I come from London originally, and have a wider experience of different cultures and family backgrounds and needs.
