About Me
I would describe myself as a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with over 25 years experience and quick at identifying student problem areas and devising the most efficient solutions, sometimes with budget or time constraints.
I have taught in both state and private sectors since 1986; examples being Surrey College (Guildford), Kings Manor in Guildford, Horsell High School (Woking) and Farnborough College of Technology and Seaford College in Petworth.
My most important teaching aid is an extensive library of past examination papers in all my subjects at GCSE and GCE A level for Edexcel, AQA and OCR examining boards.
I am well-liked by my tutees and my services are frequently recommended to siblings and friends.
For most tutees private tuition represents a workload additional to both schoolwork and homework. Therefore I aim to make tuition as interesting, interactive and productive as possible- whilst focusing on their objectives- usually a target examination grade. Without exaggeration, motivated students can learn 3-5 times faster with me then in a classroom and gain a deeper understanding of the subject(s). This confers an advantage as they move on to the next stage in their education.

My Availability
During peak periods leading up to exams or mock exams I tutor 7 days a week to cope with demand. However, I generally limit my tuition to a maximum of 4 hours a day to avoid fatigue ensuring I always deliver lively and creative lessons fully focused on their specific tuition requirements.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £29.00 per hour
Depending on location, subject level and time-span, my rates start at £29 per hour for GCSE. A modest travel cost may be involved.
