About Me
I live in Guiseley Leeds with my 12 year old daughter, my two sons and my husband. I am a friendly, caring and outgoing person. I am an OFSTED registered Outstanding childminder and believe I have a lot to offer your child. I am passionate about providing outstanding care and believe every child deserves the very best start. I am up to date with all required training and further professional training. I have a friendly home from home setting, and work very hard to help children in my setting thrive and learn through play. I have a very good relationship with parents and very strong links with my local school, childrens centre and other like mind childminders. I have a large enclosed garden with lots of toys. I live in the centre of Guiseley. We regularly visit the park, the leisure centre and local play groups. We are close to lots of other amenities and places to visit. We regularly visit local farms and parks and also go further afield to Harlow Carr, Eureka and places such as Lotherton Hall. I have a dedicated playroom inside with lots of engaging toys and activities. Each day is a new day for adventure and I love every minute of it.
My Experience
My experience is more clerical and come from a Human Resources background, however I have three young children and after having my daughter I realised I did not want to leave her and began my training. I come from a large family of three sisters and a brother. I have always helped my mother to care for my siblings and have taken great pride in watching them grow and develop into wonderful adults. I have a very close group of friends and regularly help to care for their children. I am also an active member of two local parent and toddler groups and help co ordinate these.
My Qualifications
I am OFSTED Registered. I have completed all of my relevant first aid training. I have also completed my CYPOP5. I am a member of the Leeds Quality Childminding network. I regularly attend training sessions run by Leeds City council and Aireborough Childminding Group, which enables me to keep up to date. I am first aid trained and continue my professional development by attending various training courses which benefit my understanding and my setting.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fees include meals, snacks and outings. I also run a breakfast club when needed and open all year round. For fees please contact me.

Leah is like our home from home. She is a truly exceptional childminder who treats my daughter as if she were her own. Nothing is too much hassle and flexibility given graciously.
Leah provides constant developmental updates and sends through pictures daily of what Ella has been doing. Great home cooked meals means that Ella is constantly trying new things (even if she won't eat them at home for me!). Quarterly one to one's with parents also give you the opportunity to voice milestones you want to work on together.
We are really sad to be leaving Leah and moving home but she has made a huge impact on Ella's life and development.
Leah's warm and welcoming home provides a perfect environment for anyone lucky enough to use her services.
