I am currently in a lovely nanny position in the Harpenden area but am available Wednesday and Friday for additional work .Iam flexible to hours and location , so if you require a kind, caring nanny who is passionate about excellent childcare then carry on reading ...i am a fully qualifed nursery nurse (NNEB)and fun loving mum to one older child of 16- I have my own car, clean license , with 20years plus ,childcare experience with all ages also twin and baby experience .
I enjoy working with children, taking them out,being their friend , cooking , baking and generally helping them to learn through a variety of activities and have fun.I understand the importance of good communication to track children’s progress and development and also as a way of passing on messages and details about each day .
I aim to teach and encourage good manners and rules and make sure the children are well looked after.

My Experience
I have worked in day nurseries and as a nanny. I was once a senior nursery nurse and acted as deputy manager in absence. I have worked with all ages and have never been unemployed, i love my job, i think working with children is very rewarding, challenging at times, but fun.
I have baby, toddler , twin and older child experience.
I have experience of weaning , making up bottles , encouraging a routine , cooking a varied menu and providing healthy nutritious meals, I have worked with families that have had pets and am happy to feed animals , walk the dog etc .
I have the benefit of having experience as not only a nanny but also as a parent.
My Qualifications
NNEB diploma in childcare - passed in 1998-various childcare modules studied as well as practical experience.
