About Me
Hello, my name is Helen and I am an Ofsted Outstanding registered childminder in the Southend area. I pick up and drop off to Thorpe Greenways school. I take pre school children to toddler groups, meet with other childminders, park, library, beach, farm, Sealife, etc.I follow the EYFS as required by Ofsted. I also cover school holidays if required.
My home is safe, clean and smoke free. I have a pet free home. I am an active person so enjoy taking the children out in the fresh air. If that suits your child, I would love to hear from you.
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own and have been childminding for 20 years.
I have enjoyed taking children to the park/ beach/ duck pond/ library and other places of interest. I provide craft activities for the children and have a toy room just for them.
During school holidays I have taken the children to the zoo, Walton on the Naze, Marsh farm and many other places.
I can cover during school holidays as well as inset days from school.
I have a 120ft secure garden full of toys, sand-pit, slide, water tray, play house, ride on toys etc
The children enjoy trips to the park and beach after school or play in the garden or fully equipped toy room.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 qualification in childrens learning & development.
I have brought up 3 children of my own, the youngest being 21.
I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for childcare and early years.) and I was Ofsted inspected,July 2017 achieving an Outstanding grade. I am also a member of an Ofsted registered network.
I attend courses e.g. First Aid, childrens activites and games, health and hygiene etc that are made available to me.
I am an accredited childminder so if you would prefer to have a funded place with a childminder instead of a nursery, give me a call or leave a message.
