I have been a qualified nanny for many years.
I am also a mum of 1 daughter, aged 19.
I am ofsted registered, have a first-aid certificate, crb check and excellent references.
I love to read, go walking, enjoy good films, the theatre, and eating out/socialising.
I used to do volunteer work at St. Peter's Hospice (On Reception) and am due to start some volunteer work at Southmead Hospital (on the Maternity Ward)
I have been married for 25yrs and am a car driver with a clean driving licence.
My Experience
I have had experience with babies and children up to the age of 19.
I have worked with several families and usually stay long-term until I am no longer needed.
I enjoy going to toddler groups, music/gym groups so that the children can socialise and also lots of outings in the fresh air, such as the zoo and parks.
I also love doing things in the home such as reading stories, craft activities, baking, puzzles and games etc.

Caroline is our nanny currently and has been for the last year. Our son is going to school at the beginning of January so we no longer need her excellent services.
She was a real find. Her extensive experience hasn't impacted on her flexibility and she is able to adapt to the family needs. She is a lovely cook and has filled our freezer with delicious meals and often leaves us cakes as well. The children took to her well and she is patient and kind and has a real vocation for her chosen career. She knows all the toddler activities around Bristol and has taken advantage of these. She is not thrown by any misbehaviours and really cares for the children, which is evidenced by the fact that she has stayed close to all the children she has previously cared for.
I was always 100% sure that the children's safety and happiness was her number 1 priority.
I am a doctor and therefore work out of the 9-5 routine times and she was very happy to be flexible around this even at short notice, and even maintained an equable temperament when we had 3 months of disruptive building work.
I really don't think we could have found a better nanny and I am happy to talk to anyone interviewing her- just get Caroline to give you my number.
