About Me
I'm Julie and I am an Ofsted registered and qualified childminder. I live in Hertford, and have an advanced CRB check. I have 2 children Aimee 19 and Teddie 17. Aimee is attending BIMM in Brighton studying a degree in Music and Ted is attending HRC Ware for a Digital Game Design Course. I am currently caring for a 3 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old. I also do drop off's and pick up's to Wheatcroft Primary School every morning and afternoon. I regularly attend playgroups, social gatherings and go on outings to the parks, farms and soft play area's. We live in a semi-detached 3 bedroom house with a large enclosed garden with many garden toys and equipment such as a slide, play house and ride along's. We also have a dog called George who is very friendly and excellent with Children. We have a large playroom with sensory & educational toys, bright posters such as the alphabet, world map and times tables. I am able to do school runs to Wheatcroft Primary School & Nursery, Kings-mead Pre-School and The Pines. I can also consider other Nursery drop off's and pick up's at lunch time, I am flexible, please call me for a chat if you need drop off's to other Nursery's or pre-school's and I will do my best to help!
My Experience
I have raised my two children and enjoyed every bit of it!
Worked for over a year as a Mid-day Supervisory Assistant at Abel Smith School, which I loved but there was no scope to extend my hours and I wanted to work all day with children so decided to become a childminder.
Volunteered for the last 5 years at Wheatcroft Primary School, being asked to assist in classes that my children were not in as well as helping in their classses due to my hard work and dedication to the school and children.
Jointly ran a toddler group with two other mums in Kingsmead Pre-School on a Friday morning for over a year.
My Qualifications
I have passed my CACHE level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare Services and my Pediatric 1st Aid course. I have attended a course on Safeguarding and both myself and my partner have a CRB enhanced cert with Ofsted.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I have an hourly fee which is reduced for siblings. My rates start from 8 am and normally finish at 5.30pm but I would always be as flexible as possible to meet your requirements. Lunch, snacks and drinks are included in my fee. Evening meal would need to be provided from home which I’m happy to warm up if required.
