About Me

I am a highly experienced and dedicated primary school teacher and tutor with over 25 years of experience working with children across the primary age range. I currently teach in a primary school and therefore have an excellent understanding of the current curriculum, teaching methods, and expectations for children at each stage of learning.
Alongside my classroom role, I provide private tuition tailored to each child’s individual needs. I specialise in supporting children with phonics, reading, writing, and maths, helping them to build confidence, make progress, and enjoy learning.
I am skilled in assessing pupils’ strengths and areas for development and use a range of engaging, personalised strategies to ensure lessons are inclusive, motivating, and effective. My calm and encouraging approach helps children feel comfortable, supported, and proud of their achievements.
I believe every child can succeed with the right support and encouragement. I focus not only on academic progress, but also on building confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.
