About Me

I am a very experienced primary school teacher and tutor, having taught in primary schools for over 25 years. I work in a school, so am trained and up to date with current learning practices, and I also tutor out of school hours. I am skilled in assessing pupils and use a range of tools and strategies to make sure tuition is always inclusive and personalised. I am dedicated to getting the best out of the children I teach and use techniques which keep them engaged and motivated. I encourage children to solve problems, believe they can achieve, gain confidence and feel that their efforts are valued. If your child needs support with phonics, reading, writing or maths please drop me a message and we can discuss your requirements further.
