A wonderful nanny

Laura has provided excellent care for our two boys aged 3 and 4 and we are sorry to part company with her.

Laura took on the role during a period of great change for the boys, with our previous long-standing nanny stepping down and our oldest child starting primary school. Laura has been flexible and accommodating during the transition period over the summer holidays and stepped in to the role quickly and effectively. She consistently ensured that the children were picked up on time and prepared meals for them three nights a week. She supported our youngest with potty training and helped settle our eldest in with the demands of starting school, all whilst providing a safe, fun environment for the children. Laura has also been flexible when we have required short-term cover due to work demands for which we are most grateful.

It was our hope that Laura would be nanny to our children for a long time to come; unfortunately, this was not to be. This is in no way a reflection on Laura who has been professional and accommodating as well as a positive, stable influence on the children. We wish her all the best for the future and would commend her to any future employers.

Wonderful Nanny - With us for Six Years!

Laura provided after-school and holiday care to my two daughters for six years, before a change in our circumstances meant that we no longer needed childcare. She was extremely reliable and proactive and efficient! She managed the collection from nursery & school, supported the children with their homework, cooked their dinner and cleared everything after and made sure that they were ready for bed for when we got home from work so that we could just enjoy quality (and stress-free!) time with the girls when we got home. In the holidays she always came up with lots of creative and fun ideas to keep them entertained, such as nature trails, art and craft at home, visiting the local farm parks and historical buildings and museums in the local area (which often had fun events in the holidays for children) and many more. She is amazing at sourcing fun things to do for kids (much better than me!). She also supported us with babysitting services.

Despite it having been a few years since we had Laura as a nanny, we still keep in touch. She remembers the girls’ birthdays and uses her own valuable time to meet up with the girls and take them for days out. This is a great demonstration of the genuine care she has for the children in her care and the strong relationships that she fosters with them.

Laura will be a fantastic asset to her next family!

Fantastic afterschool Nanny!

I am delighted to write this reference for Laura, who has been an exceptional nanny for our family over the past five years. Laura has provided outstanding care for our two boys, now aged 11 and 13, and her contributions have been invaluable to our household.
