My Requirements
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, warm, and proactive after-school nanny/driver to look after our two children (son, 9, and daughter, 13) from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:30 or 8:00 PM, depending on my work rota, which makes a total of 15-20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
School Pickups & Driving (Own car required): Collect our son from primary school at 3:20 PM, and our daughter from the coach stop at 5:00 PM.
Meals: Prepare an after-school snack upon arrival and cook a healthy dinner for the children to be served around 6:30–7:00 PM.
Homework & Activities: Provide ~30 minutes of homework support/guidance for our son, prompt the children for online classes, and ensure the space is ready for in-person tutors.
Light Nursery Duties: Keep the kitchen tidy after meal prep, manage children's laundry, and maintain organised common areas while the children are busy with activities.
About the Children
Both children are polite and largely self-sufficient, so the role focuses on smooth logistics, routine support, and evening winding-down.
Requirements
Full clean driving licence (and own reliable car with appropriate insurance).
Enhanced DBS check & first aid
Comfortable around family pets (two friendly cats).
