I would say one of my plusses is that I enjoy being in the moment with your child/ren and hands on participation in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. I prefer to be busy than not but understand downtime is important too.
I have many interests of which some include Geocaching, baking, kayaking, gardening, cinema and art/crafts.

I am NNEB qualified and have worked with children in a variety of settings
(nanny, nanny overseas, International kindergarten/playgroup, cruise ship children clubs, special needs playgroups, babysitter, nursery nurse agency work, sole/shared care) for 30 + years.

I have have had little experience with children under 2 yrs old on a regular basis and would not take on babysitting with children under 2 yrs.

Update 07/10/25: I am happy offer temporary childcare at this time (within 10 miles) from October 17th (my search for a full time, permanent role will continue in the background so please keep this in mind; respectable notice will be discussed and honoured))
From October 6 2025.
Looking for a permanent, full time, live in Nanny/Housekeeper role with separate accommodation. I am currently based in Andover but happy to work ideally within Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and West Surrey. My preferred age of children is 5-12; happy of course to grow with a family, (3 yrs old + for ah hoc, babysitting, temporary work).
I have a dog, Pippin. Pippin is a Yorkshire Terrier who came to live with me 3 years ago when my dad could no longer manage all of her needs due to his health.
Depending on how long I am out of the house means she would need to be with me/come to work with me.
Pippin has ‘lived in’ with me at my previous work family from 2020-23. They had a spaniel and it worked well; the kids loved her too. I’m sure she would get a great reference if you needed!
