Hi parents, I'm Julie, I am a 32 year old French nanny. I have been in London for 11 years and have Settled Status. Based in Streatham.
non-smoker. Non driver. I speak English fluently.
I am a mum of 2 boys (one in school and a baby who will be in childcare or coming with me depending on arrangement)
I am looking for a part-time role of about 25hrs a week. Available from April 2026.
I have 10 years of experience as a nanny and have worked for many families with children of different ages. I also have 1 year experience in a nursery's Baby room called Kido Streatham (babies aged 6-18months).
I succesfully held a nanny role with my own baby in 2021/2022. I was taking care of 2 children aged 3 and 5, I returned from ML with my 6 months old baby and stayed until he was nearly 2. It was a great experience, and I loved watching the children learn and play all together, and they were very happy to have a little playmate.
I now have a 9 months old baby who is very happy and easy going. I would love to find a role where I could bring him with me (at a reduced rate), but alternatively I can arrange childcare.
I love being a nanny as I genuinely enjoy playing with children and setting up activities for them (outdoors as much as possible, sensory/water play, art, Lego etc) or taking them to playgroups and socialise. Keeping them safe is always my top priority. As a parent I know how hard it can be to leave our children with other people, so I always make sure to communicate well and send updates through the day. I like to build a trusting relationship with the whole family.
I am very punctual and organised. I will happily look after little ones if they are sick (within reason)
Additionally, I can share my French language and teach words/sing French rhymes, if that's something you would like.

My Experience
2012 : AU PAIR in Watford, Twins aged 6
2013 : AU PAIR in Barnes, G4, G6 and B10.
2015-2016 : before/after school Nanny in Tooting for boy aged 8 + teens 12, 15yo.
(Duties: breakfast and getting ready for school, AM and PM school runs by bus+tube. Help with homework, entertaining or taking to after-school activities, tidying up, cooking basic/healthy dinner..taking care of children's laundry. Holidays full-time, many different activities in London).
2016-2017 : Nanny in Clapham B3, G5, G7
(Duties: getting the children ready for school/nursery in the morning. Picking up youngest from nursery, giving lunch and taking to activities.
Entertaining children after school, park, baking, crafts, games.. Gving bath, dinner and getting ready for bed. Full time during school holidays)
2017-2019 : Balham, Nanny of 2 girls aged 2.5 and 6
Duties are the same as previous job, plus weekly babysittings, batch cooking during school hours, and arranging playdates with parents/nannies.
2019-2022 : Nanny in Clapham, boy 17months, girl 5.
Duties: full days with the toddler, taking to playgroups and classes. Making lunch, entertaining at home and putting down for naps. Picking up older girl from school and helping with homework, organing crafts activities, baking, taking to the park.
When I returned from maternity leave with my baby, the boy was at nursery, so before pick up I prepared dinners, did laundry, meal plans and shopping lists. As well as looking after my own baby :)
2022-2023 : nursery apprentice in baby room, Streatham Kido
2023-2025: Peckham, 2 full days nanny role with B/G twins just turned 3. Similar nanny duties as previous roles. Taking the children to parks, playgroups, library, doing fun craft activities. Making their meals, taking care of their washing and keeping their space tidy.
2023-2024 (in addition to role above) : West Norwood, 1.5 day-role with boy aged 18 months old.
2024-2025 : West Norwood, 1 day role with boy aged 3 and girl aged 6. Dropping off the eldest at school and taking the youngest on outings, mostly central London museum, using public transports (tube, buses, trains), making sure we were always back on time for 3.20pm school pick up. Giving them dinner and entertaining with games, reading, crafts..
My Qualifications
- French Baccalaureat (High school diploma, similar to A levels)
- 2 years in a French University (studied English & American literature and History/civilisations), both passed, but I then came to London for the summer and ended up staying.
- Paediatric First Aid certificate SEPT 2022
-DBS check updated every year
-Child protection and safeguarding training certificate May 2023
My Availability
20/25hrs a week. Ideally 2 or 3 full days (must include Wednesday). No after school please.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
£21ph gross / £17ph bringing own child
Nanny tax (or similar) payroll required please.

Julie looked after our children for 3 years, during this time she never missed a single day of work. She is extremely reliable and punctual. She is hard-working and really knows how to build a connection with children. She is very kind and very “natural” with children. She was helping us with laundry, meal prep ( batch cooking), making our life easier. Our children really loved spending time with Julie, and when she returned from maternity leave with her son, they had one more friend to play with!
