About Me
I have been an OFSTED registered Childminder for over 13 years. In November 2015 I was graded Outstanding for the third consecutive time. My reports can be viewed at reports.ofsted.gov using URN EY289702. I am an Early Years Entitled Childminder, which means that from the term after your child is three you may claim 15 hours per week funded childcare from me. I am also able to accept children for the 30 hours Universal funding. I live in Cotford St Luke with my four children, 25,18, 17 and 14 years. I live a very active life and also enjoy eating out and running.
I offer a professional and secure, yet warm, loving, friendly, bright and fun environment for children aged 0 - 12 years. We participate in a huge range of stimulating activities both in and out of the home. I have countless scrapbooks of photographs showing a wide variety of what I do with the children which you will be more than welcome to see if you come to visit me, together with my portfolio which includes policies and procedures, risk assessments and references.

My Experience
I have 23 years experience of childcare from being a mum myself. I returned to work when my eldest was just 3 months old, so I completely understand childcare from a parent's perspective and realise that sometimes not everything runs to plan! I am therefore very flexible and will help whenever I can. I started childminding when my youngest was one year old.
Since becoming a childminder, I have cared for babies from 3 months of age and I still have some now that have gone on to school and who come back to me during the school holidays for care.
My Qualifications
Outstanding in all areas by OFSTED (Latest 29/11/15). CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Homebased Childcare Graded "A" in all four areas and therefore "A" overall
Early Years Entitled
Paediatric First Aid - updated November 2015
Safeguarding Children - updated October 2015
Level 2 Food Safety Award in Catering and Hygiene
Five star rating by Environmental Health
Numerous references from current and past parents of children I am minding/have minded
My Availability
Monday to Friday 6am to 6pm (flexible)
I do not work weekends or bank holidays.
I always take the week off between Christmas and New Year and two weeks in the summer (for which I will give as much notice as possible - normally a year)
