About Me

Hello, my name is Jessica (Mrs V).
I am a passionate, highly experienced Primary School Teacher (ECT) specialising in Early Years (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
I have recently achieved my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which builds upon 17 years of dedicated experience working in schools as a Teaching Assistant (TA), Learning Support Assistant (LSA), and Pre-School Teacher.
Over nearly two decades in the classroom, I have developed a deep understanding of early childhood development, the national curriculum, and the specific milestones children need to reach in their early primary years.

My Approach to Tutoring
I am calm, patient, organised, and reliable. I firmly believe in treating every child as an individual. No two children learn the same way, and I adapt my teaching to support each child’s unique needs. My goal is to create a fun, low-pressure environment where your child can acquire the essential skills and confidence they need to thrive in school.
I find KS1 children learn best through active engagement, my lessons are interactive, and mixed with educational games that keep focused on the learning objective.
