About Me

Hi, I'm Jacquie. I have availability now to help more families who need after sc?ool tutoring or home schooling for their children during the day.

I have been providing alternative education both privately and for the County Council for years now and have had great success with all my students at all key stages.

I have an enhanced and up to datedbs and all safeguarding certificates, qualifications and excellent references from all the families who have hired me over the years which are available on request.

A few examples of my work:
Last academic year I was teaching a year 9 student for 5 mornings per week through alternative provision. Using the whole person approach i was able to encourage, motivate and build her confidence and we progressed to gcse preparation for English, Maths and Science. She has now returned to school for year 10.
I have previously done this for 5 other year children for the County Council.

Current:
After school tuition.
Girl 7; Maths and English for all of year 2 and now we are continuing into year 3. I now teach the 4 year old sibling.
Current:
Boy 7 ; Maths for the last 6 months of year 2 and we are now continuing into year 3.

In Berkshire:
Home schooling.
For 4 years, I taught a Russian girl age 6, English and Math 3-6 times a week , and she is now thriving in confidence and speaking, writing and reading very well, despite not being able to speak in English when we started. I then taught her brother from Reception to year two, after school, for 3 days per week up until i moved her in March 2025. I started with this family in Reading before lockdown. I home-schooled 3 brothers in Ascot ages 5-11, 3 times a week KS1-2 in Maths, English and Science. I started with this family before lockdown and left in February 2024 to move back to my home in WIvenhoe. Reference available.

I taught boy triplets for a couple of years, who then passed their entrance test into a good school. I was recommended by the previous family where I taught their twin girls, who also passed their entrance tests into a private school. Reference available.
