About Me

Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a mum to two wonderful sons and a friendly Labrador called Nala, who is a much-loved part of our family.

I work alongside my assistant, Angela, who shares my passion for providing a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Together, we create a welcoming setting where children feel safe, valued, and supported in their development.

As a childminder, I follow the Curiosity Approach, which encourages children to explore their interests freely, develop their independence, and learn through play and discovery. I believe every child is unique, and I support them in following their own interests, building confidence, and developing a lifelong love of learning.

The children in my care enjoy a nurturing, home-from-home environment where they are encouraged to make choices, solve problems, and take part in everyday activities. We regularly involve children in preparing their own meals and snacks, helping them develop valuable life skills while learning about healthy eating. All meals are freshly prepared using quality ingredients, including fresh meat and vegetables.

We love spending time outdoors and believe that nature provides endless opportunities for learning and adventure. Whether we’re exploring local parks, going on nature walks, gardening, visiting local attractions, or simply enjoying free play in the garden, outdoor experiences are a big part of our day.

Our aim is to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, supported, and happy to learn, grow, and thrive. We work closely with families to ensure each child receives the best possible care and opportunities to reach their full potential.
