About Me
I am a mature, reliable, self-motivated, responsible and cheerful person with excellent childcare skills. I have a very strong experience (over 25 years in childcare) as both live in and live out nanny, well versed in managing children across a range of ages from 10 weeks up to 8 years and twins experience. I do hold the First Aid certificate, DBS (updated every year) and Safeguarding certificate. As well as I worked in local Montessori nursery as a teacher's assistant.
I recently finished a position looking after a little boy (aged 6 months when I started) and many took the family's dog on our outings. I also work as an emergency back up nanny for one of the London's nanny agency (I'm with them since 2015). I have experience as a full time, part time, live,in/out nanny, temp/emergency short term, I do cover their nanny's holiday cover, sick nanny cover, rota nanny, etc. I'm always very flexible and commitment is for me very important. I'm very adaptable to the family's needs. Happy to negotiate the family requirements, so please do not hesitate to contact me and ask.
At the moment I'm looking for a minimum 3-4 days nanny position, with a minimum of 6 hours (not split shifts) a day. I am available for an immediate start.
I'm looking for position in Barnes, Mortlake/East Sheen, Kew, Richmond, Hammersmith, Chiswick, Putney, Wandsworth area but also happy to consider a different location for the right family.
I am very passionate about helping young children to learn and to grow and to become happy independent individuals. I am a warm, fun, loving, caring individual who is eager to work for a family, bringing a strong passion for children and family, along with a professional attitude to develop and nurture them in the most effective manners. I offer extensive experience in all kinds of childcare, errands, and housekeeping related to children. I am looking for a sole charge position. I enjoy doing arts, crafts with the children, running around the park, reading books, baking, cooking, swimming and many other outdoor activities.
My main responsibilities included getting children ready school, school runs, outdoor activities, cooking healthy balanced food, baking with children, doing arts and crafts, organizing children's play/rooms, kitchen when needed, being silly but using a common sense and safety :), supervising homework, bed time, after school activities, clubs, potty training, taking to doctors/dentist appointments, shopping groceries, birthdays presents, staying overnight for parents who travel with work. I am also experienced with proxy parenting or travelling with the family for an extended period of time. Also I helped a few families to pack and move the houses on a few occasions.

Mirka has babysat for us on multiple occasions - she has always been punctual, reliable and great with our boys.
She was also a teacher at their nursery - they have all developed a lovely relationship with her and love seeing her around!
