As well as my professional experience, I am also a proud mum to my four-year-old daughter. My Experience
I have over 15 years of experience working in childcare and early years, with the last 9 years spent in leadership and managerial roles. I hold a BA (Hons) Level 6 degree in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, along with Level 3 Safeguarding training, giving me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and high-quality early years practice.
Throughout my career, I have predominantly worked as a baby room practitioner, developing extensive knowledge of supporting babies’ learning, care, and development during their earliest years. However, I am highly adaptable and confident working with children of all ages, tailoring my approach to meet each child’s individual needs. My experience has enabled me to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while maintaining safe, nurturing, and engaging environments that promote children’s wellbeing and development.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA (Hons) Level 6 degree in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, providing me with a strong foundation in child development, early years education, and safeguarding practice. I have also completed Paediatric First Aid training, ensuring I can respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations.
In addition, I hold certifications in Food Hygiene, Makaton, and Fire Safety. These qualifications enable me to maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment, support effective communication with children of all abilities, and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing in childcare settings.
