Hi, my name is Heather (Hev) Carr and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I am based in Pound Hill, Crawley, where I live with my husband and 2 beautiful children (12 and 8 years old). We are a very loving, fun family and provide a home from home environment.
My Experience
I have completed a CACHE level 3 award in preparing to work in home based childcare, CACHE level 3 certificate in Understanding Autism,12 hour paediatric first aid course, safeguarding children and a food hygiene course.
I have experience of looking after children from newborn to 14 years old.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge £6.50 per hour. School drop offs are charged at £10ph or £20 for school wraparound care.

I was a bit nervous about leaving my daughter with a childminder as she was 1 years old and born during lockdown so I was unsure on how she would cope. Hev was always happy to talk through any concerns I had, offered multiple settling in sessions which got longer over time and gave regular updates when she was looking after my daughter. Since being with Hev, the confidence she has picked up is amazing - she speaks more words, is able to play and communicate with other children better and just seems to be happier in general. Best decision ever sending her here.

Heather offers a friendly, safe and happy place for my little one to go. He absolutely adores Heather and I have seen a massive growth and development change in him since starting with Heather. I couldn’t recommend Heather enough. I am so happy we found Heather for our little one to go to while we work. It gives us peace of mind to know he is looked after like he is at home.
