About Me

I am a 54 year old childminder, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. I have five children aged between 8 to 27 years of age. I became self-employed after the birth of my fourth child. I live in Morpeth, Northumberland with my children and husband.

My Experience

I have a BA Honours in English and taught in Primary schools for twenty years, in the last five years of my teaching career I was a headteacher, teaching children aged 3-11 years of age. I have been a child minder for 13 years and look after children from 0-13 years of age. At present I pick children up from Whalton CE First School, Newminister and Abbeyfields but would consider other schools and nurseries if it was logistically possible.

My Qualifications

BA Honours in English.

Twenty years teaching experience.

Ofsted rated me "Outstanding"

Have DBS clearance from Ofsted..

I have First Aid and Child Protection Training.

I have a five star Food Hygiene certificate
