I am married with two children, a daughter aged 26 and a son aged 24. I am a very reliable, trustworthy and friendly person. I am ofsted registered and passed my check with flying colours on 16th October 2017 (we don't get graded as Nanny's). I have my own liability insurance and I have a car which is insured for my work as a self employed Nanny. I absolutely love working with children. I enjoy doing all kinds of activities with children and I'm happy to take them to any classes / clubs in the local area.
My Experience
When my children were both young I helped out at their nurseries and really enjoyed it so much so that I decided to start working at one of them once my children had both started school. I started working at a pre-school setting in Sept 2007 and later moved onto another setting where I could work more hours. In April 2012 I decided I wanted to work more one to one with children and looked into becoming a Nanny. I worked for a company to start with and then I decided to set myself up as a self employed Nanny and got myself ofsted registered and insured and haven't looked back since! I love the one to one interaction I get in my job, its so rewarding!

My Fees
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
£14.00 an hour. I am registered to accept childcare vouchers but not government funding. I'm Ofsted Registered which means tax credits can be claimed to help pay towards my childcare payments. I am also set up for tax free childcare.

Kathy has been looking after our daughter since she was about 6 weeks old, one day a week. Our daughter loves her time with Kathy and now she has started nursery we have retained the day with Kathy because she is so good with her. They go out and have lots of fun, and mum and dad get a rest once a week! Definitely meet with Kathy if you can, you won’t want anyone else.

Kathy has been looking after our little ones for several months. She takes them to a group in a morning, which the boys really enjoy with lots of things to do. She is kind, considerate and the boys love their time with Kathy.

Kathy has been working with us for the last five and half years, caring for our 3 boys (now aged 3, 5 and 8), two days a week. She's been an integral part of our family since she joined us when our second child was 6 months old. She's friendly, punctual and brilliant with the kids. She was fantastic when the children were babies, a huge support to me as a mother, and as the boys have grown she's flexed around us. She always puts in the effort to find different activities each day, to make sure the children have a great time. We're going to miss her a lot.
Kathy is leaving us only because the children are older and in full time education/nursery - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kathy to the parents of any young family.

Kathy is a brilliant nanny. We welcomed Kathy into our household when our baby was only 6 weeks old and we haven’t looked back. Kathy has been supportive to both mum and dad alongside caring for baby and always has great ideas for baby classes and little outings. We feel very lucky to have Kathy.

Kathy was highly recommended to me when she stepped in to look after my 1 year old whilst I was working away in Norwich and within moments of meeting her it was clear to see why. What an incredible person, there aren’t enough words to say how thankful I am to Kathy for the exceptional way she took care of my son who warmed to her instantly and was looked after to the highest of standards. Nothing was too much trouble. I really wish that we lived locally to Norwich as I would have done everything in my power to try and secure Kathy as our full time nanny - a real treasure. Thank you.

We worked with Kathy for almost a year, and were extremely happy with the top quality care she provided for our premature daughter! Kathy has been extremely helpful, kind and patient with our little one. My daughter was extremely attached to her and liked Kathy a lot. Kathy was always professional, caring and very thorough. Kathy was always extremely respectful of any cultural differences and was happy to provide a nurturing environment for my little one. Any family would be very lucky to work with Kathy.

Kathy helped us for 3 months, shortly after the birth of my second daughter. She helped around the house with odd jobs (posting parcels etc.), laundry, tidying the house, preparing toddler meals, caring for my toddler (including nursery drop off and collection) and baby. Kathy is fantastic - friendly, reliable and trustworthy. I recommend her highly.

Kathy was amazing with my two children. She was able to help me out at short notice as well which was really handy! She’s Very friendly and my son said that he would be really happy for her to come round again, he enjoyed having a good chat with her. I’m really happy that I chose her to watch my children, I was a bit nervous as I’ve never had a babysitter before, but she’s definitely woman for the job! she really put me at ease as well which was nice and text me a couple of times as well to let me know that the children were ok.

Kathy has been with us for over a year, joining us to care for our (then) 6 month old and almost-3 year old. She's fantastic with the kids, extremely flexible, doing nursery drop off/collection, taking them out to soft play and the park. She's comfortable preparing the food the like and always leaves the kitchen spotless. The boys are always so happy to see her, I never have a qualm about walking out of the door in the morning.

Kathy has been with us since July when I went back to work from maternity leave. She looks after my 2 kids (2 years old and 8 months old). My daughter is very wary of strangers but the first time she saw Kathy she took to her straight away. Kathy adapted to the kids routine very quickly and seems to always find things to do with them. She does her research on the area and where to take kids and She takes them out to parks, soft play and other places I have never heard of, but my kids seem to have a great time. She always sends me photos of what they have been up to and my kids will be smiling and laughing. It brings a smile on my face that my kids are being well taken care off. I cannot commend her enough for what she does for my kids and I can see she genuinely loves her job. From a very grateful parent. Yolanda x
