About Me
I live in Cox Green, Maidenhead with my husband and children.
I have 2 sons and a daughter, my eldest son is 28 and is a BMW technician currently working in Melbourne, Australia,My daughter is 26 (married) and is a level 3 qualified nursery nurse. After working at a local day nursery for several years she has now secured a position as a family nanny, and my youngest son is 22 and works with horses at a Polo yard.
We have 4 cats and 2 dogs living in the family home.
We also have 2 ponies which are kept at a local livery yard.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 1999 years and was graded 'Outstanding' at my last full inspection in May 2009.I have recently been inspected with our Early Years children on role as i currently care for school aged children only. I remain registered for Early Years and therefore, as required by Ofsted, i follow the guidlines for The Early Years Foundation Stage covering all aspects of development.
Many of the children i have cared for have continued to attend my setting once they have started Primary Education coming before and after school as well as school holidays and some have moved to another area, then returned and come back to me for day care.
My Qualifications
I attend ALL compulsory training, including First Aid, Child Protection/Safe Guarding Children, Level 2 certificate in Food Hygiene, Disability and Equality and Risk Assessment and EYFS Training.
These are generally updated every 3 years as required by Ofsted.
I also attend many other training sessions covering Social and emotional Development, Physical Development, as well as managing Children's behavior, Speech and language, Art and Craft activities to name but a few, this ensures continuous assessment and improvement of my setting.
My Availability
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL SPACES AVAILABLE. DROP OFF AND COLLECTION FURZE PLATT INFANTS /JUNIORS AND COLLECTION FROM ST EDMUND CAMPION.
My opening hours are 7.30 am 6pm Monday - Friday although earlier starts and later finishes are available with prior arrangement.
I am willing to work ocassional weekends, again with prior arrangement, I also offer babysitting in your home and have an Ofsted registration for overnight care.
