About Me
Hi,
i am a qualified and experienced nursery nurse,with 3 children of my own. i have lived in Dalgety bay for six years, after moving here from Edinburgh..i love working in childcare and can provide you and your children with a friendly, caring,flexible, patient and professional service. I have been a registered childminder for six years and am loving the challenge of providing a quality childcare service from my own home.
I aim to get the children out and about as much as possible, and take advantage of what is available in our local community, including, toddler groups,bookbug sessions, coastal walks, exploring in the woods, park, beach and library.
We sometimes get the train to other local parks and beaches, and take trips to Edinburgh zoo, gorgie farm and National museum amongst other places during school holidays.
We have a 6 year old border collie dog, called Harry, although he is very friendly and used to being around excited children, he will never be unattended with the children.
We also have a thre year old cat, called sally, though she is usually out and about during the day
I am available to drop off and collect from donibristle primary school and nursery, as well as local playgroups.
My Experience
i have 24 years experiece of working in private nurseries, in my previous job i was a babyroom supervisor within a large private nursery in edinburgh, Also having three daughters of my own (aged 15,13 and 7years), and lots of nieces and nephew's, has given me a wide and varied experience.
My Qualifications
i have an nc and hnc in childcare and education.I have an up to date baby and childrens first aid certificate.I have completed regular full day courses on child protection/ girfec provided by fife council and online level 2 food handling course, as well as scma courses.
I am keen to keep my knowledge and training up to date, and have enrolled on courses coming up in the next few months.
My Availability
Monday-Friday, 7.00-6pm
I am happy to be flexible, so if additional hours are required please ask.
I am available to drop off/pick up at donibristle nursery and primary school.
I currently have full time and part time availability, please get in touch to find out if I can accommodate your days and times.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Fee's are £4.50 p.h, between 7am-6pm, hours out with those times start from £6 p.h
Half hours are charged at £2.50
after school flat fee ( between 3pm-6pm) £13.50
Fee includes breakfast, snacks, lunch,drinks and cost of any groups we attend or outings we go on.
