About Me
I am a 36 year old Registered Early Years Teacher with 17 years experience working across the childcare sector. I specialise in working with SEN children, particularly those with ADHD, Autism and PDA. In addition, I also home educate my 7yo, 5yo and 2yo, and we are a family with lived experience of multiple neurodiversities.
My strengths revolve around treating each child as an individual and meeting them where they are and how they learn best. I am strongly consent-based and relationship-driven, knowing that children cannot access education unless they feel safe and valued.
My tutoring sessions are built in partnership with the children, working together to build a curriculum that is child-led, scaffolded by my expertise and knowledge base where beneficial.
This allows children to progress in a direction that feels motivating to them, building self confidence and a positive relationship with lifelong learning.
I prioritise multisensory learning delivered in a nurturing, enjoyable and often creative or physical way. I limit, or can avoid completely, worksheet based activities and the majority of my assessment practice (or all if needs be) can be done informally meaning that assessment anxiety and demand avoidance can be worked around/with to find out where to go next.
- I am DBS checked and registered with OFSTED as an Early Years Teacher (proof available on request)

My Experience
- 3 Year Special Needs 1:1 support in an Infant School.
- 2 Years Clinical Support with young children with Tracheostomy/Gastrostomy/etc including taking them into school settings.
- 2 Years Senior Residential Care Worker with teenage girls with complex care and support needs
- 2 Years working as Childcare Lead (and currently Deputy Manager) in a predominantly Waldorf, Montessori and Forest School combined setting for both home educated children and those unable to attend school for a variety of reasons.
- A variety of other ad hoc private tutoring and childcare roles.
My Qualifications
- EYITT qualification resulting in Early Years Teacher Status with OFSTED (completed this year).
- Previous degree in Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science that included behavioural psychology modules across all levels.
- Designated Safeguarding Lead (2026)
- Paediatric First Aid (Nov 2024)
- Various vocational training session certificates of completion.
My Availability
Currently available for tutoring: Monday Afternoons/Evening, Wednesday Afternoon/Evening, Friday All Day or at Weekends.
Can also be available for ad hoc evening and weekend babysitting.

- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
