About Me
I am originally from Perth, Scotland but have lived in London for many years. In my teens I used to babysit for a couple of families that lived nearby and as a result I decided that working with children was what I wanted to do.
I went to college and did my NNEB, then moved down to London and started my first nanny job. I have been very lucky and worked for many lovely families, mostly in London but I have also worked in Boston, (USA), and Sydney, (Australia).
As well as being qualified, and very experienced, I am on the DBS update system, I have a paediatric first aid certificate, (May 2023-May 2026), I’m Ofsted registered, and have Nanny Insurance.
I have a full, clean, UK driving license, and my own car, which I’m happy to use for work.
I’m a non-smoker, and happy to be around pets.
I am caring, reliable, organised, tidy and passionate about my profession.
I love walking, (I try and do 10,000+ steps every day!), going to the gym, swimming, going to concerts and the theatre, especially musicals.
My main interest is travelling, I have been to over 40 countries, so far!
My Experience
I have experience looking after children from birth, (premature), up to 16 years old. Most of my positions have been with families with two children, which include twins and also doing a nanny share. I especially enjoy looking after the under five’s, and I have missed that part of nannying during the last few years as the children I’m looking after at present are at full time school, but we have had a lot of fun during the holidays!
I would expect to do all the normal 'nursery duties', (cooking healthy age appropriate meals, keeping the children’s area’s tidy, doing the children’s laundry/bedding etc). I'm also very happy to help out around the house and do errands, as long as the children come first!
I love being out and about with the children, going to parks, playgroups, music groups, library, swimming etc, and going on play dates with other children. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, puzzles, Lego, reading etc when we're in the house.
My Qualifications
I studied for two years at college to gain my NNEB. It involved being at college for 2 days a week, and at a placement for 3 days. The placements were either at a nursery, reception class and also included a few weeks in a maternity unit.

Sadly, after being with my present family for just over 7 years, I have just found out that I am being made redundant as the children are older and more independent now.
I’m hoping to start a new position in September, but could possibly be flexible with the date.
I’m looking to work either Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday or Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
After many years of experience, and being qualified, I am looking for £20 net per hour, but that is negotiable!
