About Me
I have been working with children for 22 years now. I started my childcare qualifications (NVQ levels 2 and 3 in childcare) in 2000 working within a nursery setting. I worked in nursery's for 6 years until I moved on to become a Nanny. I have worked for many families over the years and have 2 children of my own. My eldest is 8 and my youngest is 1. As a person I like to get out and explore and enjoy the outdoors.
My Experience
I have worked with children from newborn to 11 years over the 22 years I have worked in childcare so I have experience with a wide age range. I have worked abroad as a nanny and I have nannied to a family of four children who were all under 5 years when I started.
It is a wonderful job to have, watching the children grow and develop, knowing that you play a role in their achievements by helping and teaching them along their way.
My Qualifications
I have my NVQ levels 2 and 3 in childcare and education. I also hold current paediatric first aid certificate and I now have an up to date DBS check and happy to become Ofsted registered so that you can make use of childcare voucher schemes if they are of interest to you.
My Availability
I am available for ad hoc Nannying be that holiday cover for your current nanny, emergency cover or for one off events.
I am also available to help with school holiday childcare.
