About Me
My name is Maxine, I am a 'Good' Ofsted registered childminder. I offer a home from home environment with lots of outside play. I have a park a stones throw from my house, a big outside set up of my own and we have outings everyday. My aim is to give children an adventurous, fun, loving environment to learn through play. I have a strong focus on parent partnership to ensure the best development for your child.
My Experience
I have 4 adult children of my own, who live out of the family home. I have been childminding since 2003, seeing children through from newborns to starting secondary school.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in childcare
First aid trained
Safeguarding trained
I attend regular update courses
My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday all year round.
My working hours are 07:30-17:30
I have one space available immediately and three from September due to school leavers

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Hourly rates for part time - day rates for full time. Depending on your requirements. And evening baby sitting rates.

Maxine has been amazing with our two boys for the last three years. She provides not only fun and learning environment but also environment where my boys feel happy and secure. Maxine is very flexible and accommodating to fit our family needs. Maxine provides a great setting with lots of indoor and outdoor activities, which my boys enjoy a lot. She also does a lot of creative activities with children. Maxine is a very dedicated person and help supporting our boys’ development. She teaches children to be confident and making sure that they are ready to move on to a ‘big’ school. Maxine is a great communicator, always keeping us informed about how the day went. We are very grateful to Maxine, we can honestly say that it is the best setting we could imagine for our boys.

Our daughter has been going to Maxine's childminding for almost two years since she was 1,5 years old and she loves going to Maxine. From the outset Maxine identified the things that our daughter finds difficult and worked on giving her the confidence to do them well. Maxine has prepared our daughter well for pre school and provides age appropriate learning tasks around letters and numbers, and she also does a lot of creative manual activities with the children. Maxine provides a great setting with a lot of outdoor activities and has a garden and a park outside her house that the children can enjoy during the good weather. We have no hesitation in recommending Maxine to any parent.

I am incredibly grateful for the care Maxine has provided for my daughter over the past three years. From the very start, Maxine has created a warm, loving environment that has allowed my daughter to thrive. She offers so many wonderful opportunities for growth and helps build my daughter's confidence every day.
Maxine is reliable and flexible, always accommodating our schedule when needed. She is also a great communicator, keeping me informed and making drop-offs and pick-ups smooth and easy. It’s clear that Maxine genuinely cares for the children she looks after and creates a space where they feel safe and supported.
I highly recommend Maxine as a childminder. She has been an amazing for my daughter, and I’m confident she will continue to be for many others.
