? About Me

I’ve been a registered childminder for 25 years, fully registered with Ofsted and Childcare.co.uk, and I’ve lived in Ware for over 32 years. I have two grown?up children of my own a son and a daughter and caring for little ones has always been a huge part of my life.

My home is relaxed, friendly, and nurturing a place where children feel safe, secure, and confident. I offer care that is stimulating, educational, and fun, with a purpose?built playroom and easy access to the garden for plenty of fresh air adventures.

We enjoy a lovely mix of home based activities and exciting outings, including toddler groups, parks, libraries, museums, woodlands, and indoor play areas. Outdoor learning is a big part of our day, and we make the most of it whenever we can.


? My Setting

At home, children have access to a wide range of resources for indoor, outdoor, and creative play. Some of our favourite activities include:

• Arts and crafts
• Cooking and baking
• Playdough and sensory play
• Role play and imaginative games
• Singing, dancing, and music
• Outdoor play and exploration


I keep activities varied and engaging so children can learn, discover, and thrive in a happy, supportive environment.

My garden is dedicated entirely to the children a safe, enclosed space they absolutely adore. We spend lots of time outdoors, exploring, playing, and enjoying the fresh air.

Our home is a spacious four bedroom house with a dedicated playroom, a kitchen perfect for crafts and messy play, and a handy downstairs cloakroom. There’s always a wide selection of toys, games, and activities available to suit different ages and interests.


? Learning & Development

I follow the EYFS and use the Development Matters framework to support each child’s learning journey. I regularly observe your child’s progress and plan their next steps so they can grow confidently at their own pace, with plenty of encouragement and support.


? Communication With Parents

I know how important it is for parents to feel connected to their child’s day. I’m always happy to share updates and little moments so you know what your child is doing, learning, and enjoying while they’re with me.


?? My Approach

I plan activities and outings that help children learn to share, cooperate, and build kindness and confidence. I believe strongly that all children boys and girls, from every background should be treated fairly, equally, and with respect.

My aim is simple: to provide a safe, caring, secure, happy, and fun environment where your child can grow, learn, and feel truly at home.
