About Me

I have been a registered childminder for 25 years and am fully registered with Ofsted and Childcare.co.uk. I have two children of my own—a son and a daughter—and I’ve lived in Ware for the past 32 years.

I provide childcare in a relaxed, friendly, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, secure, and confident. I offer care that is stimulating, educational, nurturing, and fun, with a purpose built playroom and easy access to the garden.

We enjoy a balance of home based activities and exciting outings, including toddler groups, parks, libraries, museums, woodlands, and indoor play areas. Fresh air and outdoor learning are a big part of our routine.

My Setting

At home, I offer a wide range of resources for indoor, outdoor, and creative play. Activities often include:

• Arts and crafts
• Cooking and baking
• Playdough and sensory play
• Role play and imaginative games
• Singing, dancing, and music
• Outdoor play and exploration


I like to keep activities varied so children can learn, discover, and thrive in a happy and supportive environment.

I have a garden dedicated entirely to the children, which they adore. It’s a safe, enclosed space where they can enjoy hours of outdoor fun — we love fresh air and being outside as much as possible.

Our home is a spacious four bedroom house with a dedicated playroom, a kitchen for crafts and messy activities, and a convenient downstairs cloakroom. A wide selection of toys, games, and activities is always available to suit different ages and interests.

Learning & Development

We work to the Development Matters framework and follow the guidelines of the EYFS. Your child will be regularly observed, and their next steps in development will be planned and supported to help them grow confidently at their own pace.

Communication With Parents

I understand how important it is for parents to feel connected to their child’s day. I’m very happy to update you throughout the day so you can know what your child is doing, what they’re learning, and how much fun they’re having.

My Approach

I plan activities and outings that encourage children to share, cooperate, and develop kindness and confidence. I believe strongly that all children—boys and girls, from every background—should be treated fairly, equally, and with respect.

My aim is to provide a safe, caring, secure, happy, and fun environment where your child can grow, learn, and feel truly at home.
