I am a mother of 2 children, 10 and 7yrs - as a family, we enjoy a variety of activities such as camping, swimming and spending time with our friends. My husband and I married in 2012, and are excited about our future ahead, with the children at the forefront of everything we
I offer a safe place where children can continue to develop and learn in an exciting, enriched environment. I offer a home from home setting, an open airy play space, filled with neutral colours and natural materials for the children to investigate. We have a big enclosed garden and live within suitable walking distance to local play groups, libraries, shops and children's centres meaning that we are always busy. I am a big believer that the children's art work and creations are paramount to the way in which they learn and understand their surroundings, therefore perfect pictures, or hand/footprint creations are rarely sent home. This year has seen outings such as farms and various museums, to enhance their learning, as well as the ongoing development of our flower, herbs and vegetable patch in the garden. This is only an insight to what we do on a daily basis, all activities are carefully planned to ensure the children are challenged, but safe and happy - allowing for freedom of choice within the planning.
Before having my own family, i was a youth leader for the camping and caravan club 12-18year olds organising various training, and fund raising events and caring for their well being throughout the weekend camping.
