Im now an assitant manager .
I live in small village in stanstead abbotts. i have lived here since 1992
Ive been with my husband 28years but married 17years.
I live in a three bedroom semi detached house. I have two children son age 26and daughter 24. I'm becoming a grandparent very soon.
Im a flexible, honest and bubbly girl. I love social activity and like to attend baby and toddler group.
I enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoy messy play. Sand, water and painting and plenty more.

My Experience
I have many years experience. I have been sole charge nanny and travelled abroad with them.
I then became a mummy of two children. My son at 2 was diagnosed with adhd and autism so I have good life skills in this area. I have plenty of empathy and understanding.
I am up for any challenge.
While i was working for children schools and families I worked in different fields and gain even more experience from pre birth to 18 year olds. I have plenty of hands on experience too. I help my friends out with their children from day one.
I have good knowledge and experience with sleeping and routines and toilet duties.
i am experienced in challenging behaviour not just terrible twos.
I also can use makaton signing and other communication methods for each individual child.
Im trained in tube feeding if this is required.
I have good experience and knowledge with EYFS. So plenty fun and learning.
We have just had our first ofsted registration and happily graded a good!
I have been manager in a nursery in covering maternity leave. I changed my career but am missing working with children and families.
My Qualifications
I have a number of qualifications.
I was trained as a NNEB In the 80s and then processed to work in children schools and families as family support worker and professional assistant working with all ages-pre birth to 18 years.
I completed an NVQ level 3 ,Caring for children and young people. Then started at university to complete a degree in Health and social care.
Looking into more training.
I have child protection qualifications level one and two.
I am trained in makaton signing and use this most days so always updating it.
I'm trained in paediatric first aid
I've have completed my childminding courses
I've just completed my degree in management.

Im able to do most evenings if it is planned.

I have been using Cher since she started in June this year and am very happy with the service she provides. I am a mum of 2 who has returned to work after seven years and couldn't have done this without the support of cher and holly knowing that my 2 girls are being looked after as I would care for them myself.
They offer very competative rates and are very flexible, even delivering and collecting my daughter to and from after school activities. Including trips to the stables where they keep their horses, soft play, park etc ..... there is always some activity going on.
They love being around children and this is obvious when you meet them. Their care and dedication is second to none. I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for childcare.

Overall
My daughter (13 months) has been going to Cher since she started childminding in the middle of June. I visited a few childminders when choosing someone for my daughter and Cher stood out as being a warm, friendly and outgoing person with whom I felt my daughter would enjoy spending time with, and more importantly, someone that I could trust to look after my daughter.
Gary and Holly work alongside Cher, and between them, they provide a home from home environment in which my daughter is thriving. They provide a mixture of activities; both going out (e.g. swimming, visiting the stables) as well as playing and doing other activities in their home.
My daughter settled very quickly in their care and now she clearly loves going to their home. I am kept fully informed about what they have been doing each day and feel confident leaving my daughter in their care.
I am very happy with the care that my daughter receives and would not hesitate to recommend Cher to other parents.

Overall
I am very pleased with Cher and her family. My 1 year old has a lot of fun there and is always very happy when i come to collect him :) always doing lots of different activitys and he is benefitting greatly from being around other children, even just for 12 hours a week :) would recommend to anyone
