About Me
** Currently in full time employment in Preschool so am not looking for a nanny role at the moment. **
I am a 44 yr old mum to 3 gorgeous daughters age 10,7,5 years .
I have an Educare Pre primary teaching Diploma obtained in SA, and been a sole charge nanny for about 20 yrs as well as a Childminder’s assistant and Nursery Assistant at Brockhurst and Marlston School.
I am currently looking for a role that will work around my own children, so would ideally need to be term time only.
2-4 days a week.
All my daughters will be in school in Newbury. They can attend after school club until my husband can collect them. Term time only and between the hours of 8-3 would be ideal but can be flexible for the right job and could do 2 days a week during the school holidays. Preferably between Tues-Friday
I am good natured, fun, caring and kind and have a calm easy manner. I'm a good cook and an animal lover. I love being creative and love reading and photography- often taking notes and photos of the kids Iv looked after for the parents to see each day.
I enjoy a health lifestyle, am energetic and self motivated. I have a genuine love for children, especially all the love, humour and affection that can be gained from spending time with children.
I aim to provide a stimulating, creative, loving and safe environment for children to thrive in.
I have a UK passport and drivers licence and can drive both automatic and manual cars and have my own vehicle to use for work.
I have a current DBS certificate and am on the update service.
I have had many Paediatric first aid certificates in the past and have a current Paediatric First Aid certificate for the next 2 years.
Nanny insurance will be obtained
I have been Ofsted registered in the past and am happy to reapply again if necessary.
My Experience
I have at least 20 years experience with children ranging in age from newborn to 13yrs.
My most recent role is as a nanny to a 1 year old girl and prior to that as a Nursery Assistant in a lovely Nursery School at Brockhurst and Marlston School Mainly with the 2-4 year age group.
I have been a Childminder’s assistant for 12 school age children age 4-9yrs after school
I did practical training in Day Care centres in South Africa to obtain my Diploma. I have been a Sole charge nanny for about 20 years and am now a mum to 3 gorgeous girls .
I have also done various babysitting jobs.
My Qualifications
I have an Edu care Pre Primary School Teaching Diploma obtained in South Africa. I have a Nursery Nurse and Childcare level 3 certification, Ofsted Core Skills for Nannies level 2, EYFS Teaching level 3 Certificate, Level 2 Food Hygiene and safety for Catering Certificate, Health and Safety Training, Safeguarding, a Care Aware childcare certificate, a MNT baby care certificate, a Food and Nutrition Certificate and a Souter's Legal Secretarial Certificate.
I have various Pacey childcare certificates including Risk assessment, safeguarding and Early Years Outcomes, supporting children’s emotional well being.
I have a pool and surf lifeguard certificate and have obtained various First Aid certificates.
My Availability
As of end of October 2023 I will be available for 4 days ideally tues-Fri but can try arrange childcare for the Monday if necessary
Ideally between the hours of 8:30-2:30 but could also do 2 full days
Ideally term time only but could do 2 days a week during school holidays
Tues/thurs/Friday
I am happy to do extra hours cleaning or babysitting.

- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
£15p/h however this can be discussed and extra money earnt through babysitting or extra hours.

Kate was fab with both of our girls and clearly an experienced and caring mum, which showed when she looked after them. Completely putting both girls at ease and took our crazy schedule in her stride. Our 4 yr old loved playing games and doing activities with Kate and was more than happy to be left with her. As was her little sister (6 Months) who was calm and content and even when things were less so Kate was brilliant and kept them both at ease whilst we were both working. Highly Recommended.
