About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and a mum to my 3 sons. I started childminding in 2008 when my eldest son was 14 months old so that I could be with him everyday. I love my job and can't imagine going back to my old job even when my sons are older. I have a cat, 2 dogs and a royal python, who get a lot of attention from the children I childmind and are used to it!
My Experience
I have been Childminding since June 2008 and in that time I have cared for children ranging from 6 months upto 11 years. I enjoy attending toddler groups with the children, the library and local parks as well as craft and cooking activities at home. I also babysit regularly and have cared for babies as young as 4 months in this role. I have done a placement at a local nursery with children from 3 to 5, so experience of children in a larger setting.
My Qualifications
I have recently completed a Cache level 5 early years lead practitioner qualification. I am also qualified in areas required to be a registered childminder, which are Paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding children. I also regularly attend training courses to improve my care such as music and movement, creative art workshop and going global.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday 7.30am-6pm, although other hours can be arranged if required. I currently have no spaces for under 5's and spaces every day except thursday for children 5-14. I drop off and collect from Forest Academy and have done to Forest nursery and Brandon Preschool Playgroup.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
I charge £4.00 per hour. I also charge £2.50 for a second child if siblings and at least one is school age.
I charge full fee for bank holidays and do not work these days, full fee for child sickness and holiday and no fee for my sickness and holidays. Anything else can be negotiated so please ask.
For babysitting I charge £8 per hour before 12am and £10 per hour after.
