My Experience

I have had 15yrs experience as a nanny to three families.

My role and tasks included:Taking children to and from school/nursery and play dates, preparing meals, assisting with homework, bath time/bedtime, potty training, discipline, organizing play/activities/days outs, general housework and looking after the child/rens wellbeing and needs within a healthy and safe environment.
The children have varied from the ages of new born to 16yrs old.
I finished my last role in November 2025 with a beautiful family that I worked with for the past 4yrs.
I left the family as I had my own daughter in December. Unfortunately, I won’t be rejoining them as the children’s schedule won’t coincide with my daughters but I will always remain part of their family.
The previous family that I worked with lasted for 10yrs but unfortunately the children all grew up. Once again, they still remain in my life and are classed as family.

Before working as a nanny, I worked in the family business which was called New Dawn. New Dawn is a residential home and community assessment centre for vulnerable young mothers, fathers and their children.
Here, they aimed to teach mothers and fathers how to nurture and protect their children so that they will not be placed into the 'Care System.' This job was challenging and very emotional but also very rewarding.

I taught each mother and father the following areas: Feeding, nappy changing, routine, discipline, Weening, bed time, potty training, bath time, stimulation, homework and interaction.
I worked with children from the ages of new born to sixteen years.

My Fees

• Childminding from £15.00 per hour
