About Me
My name is Lorraine Chittem and I’ve been a registered - my Oftsed rating is *GOOD* -
childminder since September 2021 and feel my experience, knowledge, passion and compassion makes my setting a welcoming, warm, caring, safe, inviting and stimulating environment.
We will engage in lots of fun activities like painting, cooking, going out to the farm or park, investigating the garden creatures, digging in the sand pit, concocting in the mud kitchen, dressing up, making dens, exploring treasure baskets, creating small world scenes to ignite our imagination, sharing books and stories, singing & dancing ( and resting when we need to) It will be an adventure everyday.
My Experience
I have 3 grown up children and four gorgeous grandchildren. I have worked in childcare for over 30 years and have an NNEB Diploma. worked for a well established nursery as an Assistant Deputy Manager and senior team member in the baby room (11 years ) I have previously ran my own creche and been a registered child minder. I have now re-registered as a childminder -iticreche&childminding- with Ofsted and am able to offer all day care in my own home, On a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am - 5pm.
My Qualifications
I have an NNEB certificate as well as child protection, paediatric first aid Fire safety and food hygiene, Prevent duty reporting and many others.
My Availability
Monday. 8-4
Tuesday 8-4
Wednesday 8-4 NOW FULL
Thursday. 8-4 NOW FULL
Funded hours accepted x 24 per week
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
*Fees cover all meals/outings & nappies *
Full days only ( minimum 2 days per week ) and I charge a full day rate of £70 per day (unless using the funded hours then it will be 6 hours per day minimum & 2 days per week minimum) and with optional
wraparound care at £25 per day (for those using funding but requiring the longer hours) From September I will offer 3 days at 8 hours per day funded 8-4 with optional extended day at £10 from 4 -5 pm
